"Offer Nissim的歷史其實不須多做介紹，整個扮相就已經不男不女(或男女難辨)的他，在98年在以色列國內自己一遍吵雜激辯聲中力挺變性女歌手(或男歌手? 總之是由男變女就是)Dana International，並為他量身訂製"Diva"一曲。該曲不但創造Dana International的事業高峰，並推向國際讓以色列奪得了Eurovision的冠軍(印象中積點為150多分)。也因此，當然地不難想像他成為 gay icon之一的理由。"
