雖然Gabriel & Dresden 兩人組已經解散了
但我還是忍不住要推薦這一張我最愛的其中一張專輯

這張專輯在台灣似乎應該沒有賣
而我是在PTT 的電音版發現的
2007年的專輯

那時一聽驚為天人

Gabriel & Dresden Remix 風格
一聽就覺得跟別的 DJ有所差別

Gabriel & Dresden 的 set
我個人認為比較偏向progressive house
但也有不少remix 是vocal trance

有人說 Gabriel & Dresden 是以深邃的節拍
優美而華麗的音色 營造出曼妙的氣氛

許多知名的DJ set裡面都有G&D 的Remix 作品

所以有人也說 G&D 是最能將Progressive House & Progressive Trance
Balance最好的

我舉手贊成

當初兩人因為音樂理念而結合 而後推出不少單曲
得到不少Best American Dj 大獎
他們後來又用了Motorcycle 的化名 Motorcycle 是三個人
就是 G&D 再加上一個 女 vocal JES
有名的就是那首 As the Rush Comes

JES 也跟Tiesto合作過 上次跟ATB 在萬壽party來過台灣

如果一下子聽Trance 覺得Trance太吵的人 也許可以聽聽看 G&D

我只能說 這張專輯我百聽不厭
因為這兩張CD 收錄太多好聽的歌了
簡直是G & D 的精華
尤其是nonstop 的 set 一氣呵成 太high了

第一張大部分是女vocal 的 喜歡女聲vocal 有福了

我尤其愛一開始的
As The Rush Comes(當然是 G&D 自己的版本,As the Rush Comes Remix 有24個版本)

第二首 Sarah Mclachlan - Fallen 當然也是經典國歌
更不要說Dido 的 Don't Leave Home 和 Above & Beyond 的 No One on Earth
Beautiful Thing 和 Summer Calling 更是好聽的沒話說
我也很喜歡 Beber and Tamra - Travelling On
最後的Duncan Sheik On A High 雖然很high 卻有點收尾的感傷

第二張的Arcadia 也超好聽
但最好聽的一段是G&D 混斷背山的電影主題曲The Wings 到 Nelly Furtado 的 Try
到Dave Gahah I Need you
真是高潮好聽到流眼淚!_!

所以說DJ怎樣Mix怎樣一氣呵成接歌營造氣氛真的很重要 這樣才看得出DJ的功力
不過現在的DJ也當然不只放歌 怎樣做出跟原曲差了十萬八千里的Remix 也是很重要的

總之喜歡G & D 和 Progressive house & trance 千萬不能漏了一張專輯
如果對裏面的單曲有興趣
也可以去 youtube 聽聽
但nonstop 的Set 絕對是讓你聽到high
